FRESHMAN YEAR 2007-2008

SEPTEMBER

-moved in on my birthday (9/23) and met Haley, Caitlin, Mara, and some other people from my building at our building meetings and rally
- went to the Buzz where we went on those trampoline/bungy jumping things...the person helping me gave me extra time!
- first day of college and I forgot my schedule/map

OCTOBER

- first bike accident..and then watching Love Actually afterwards to make myself feel better

- Jimmy Eat World show
- biking every Wednesday to Willette Elementary and it was usually windy.- falling asleep in MAST everyday
- watching "The Classic" in my room and realizing that Jun In Sung [is that his name?] looked a lot like Christopher Kale Johns
- DOOR WARS!!!!!!!
- talking to Caitlin about our possibly robot costumes for Halloween [which never happened! we'll do it next year]
- BLACKOUT ON HALLOWEEN and how everyone was freaking out; Mara and I were watching "Unsolved Mysteries" when it happened...that was pretty scary

NOVEMBER

-MCS @ the Warfield and how I barely made it
- Thanksgiving week and how fun it was just watching movies
- study parties with Amy..and how "productive" they were
- start of Project Runway and the Amazing Race!

DECEMBER

- holiday cheer! Christmas lights everywhere! it looked amazing.
- first college finals ever....it wasn't that bad
- CHINA TRIP! it was so much fun...better than i thought it would be! [i can't believe it's almost been half a year already!]

JANUARY

- coming back to school just two days after returning from China and being hella jetlagged
- watching "Once" with Kimber and Caitlin and falling asleep half way through...they tried to take pictures of me sleeping
- it rained almost everyday.
- it was sooooooo cold
- Bill Clinton at UC Davis and how Merry and I waited forever to get [in line and at the door] only to be rejected and later shooed away by the cops
- Caitlin's birthday! the start of our FOTC love
- Oceans class and how I always came in wet
- the start of the best class ever- MUSIC IN THE MOVIES!
- movie hopping with Angela and Theresa [Juno, Enchanted, and Sweeney Todd]

FEBRUARY

- Chinese New Year at the DC...ethnic music at breakfast
- VALENTINE'S DAY BLACKOUT! Mara and I walked to Merry's suite to finish stats homework and watch Supernatural
- karaoke at Blue Moon [?], pho at PPQ, and then later Wii-ing
- continuing the FOTC love
- continuing to hate my tech class and stats
- movie watching in our "secret location"

MARCH

- putting up with Hairspray singing
- TWO WORDS: BLEEDING LOVE
- trip to Target in the jankiest mall ever
- presentations in Music in the Movies...i don't think i'm going to forget the Sweeney Todd presentation [the guy gave away the entire plot and only showed the intro] or the Pokemon presentation or The Little Mermaid presentation
- BOMB THREAT and spending the night in Tercero Main [definitely one of the craziest nights ever]
- $1 movie night - Across the Universe and Shaun of the Dead - with Mara
- winter quarter finals weren't that bad!
- attending the Dat Phan show and "losing my shit" when it was announced that Arj Barker would be performing at Davis
- Caitlin and I starting our vlogs and that one night we took hella photobooth pictures with Kimber [and her huge butt]! one of the best nights ever!
- spring break! Crepevine and boats at Stow Lake

APRIL
- finally getting into the Harry Potter movie class!
- swimming aerobics and how hardcore it was
- finding out that my grandma died and later attending her funeral
- trying to get out swimming whenever possible
- Death Cab for Cutie show
- MCS 4/11
- art classes at the Craft Center
- first trip into Sacramento/Sonic
- hearing about FOTC's tour dates/getting tickets

MAY
- counting down to FOTC!!!!!!!
- making my paper dolls and taking pictures with them
- enjoying film studies, sociology, and music lit
- not enjoying econ or swimming
- making our Harry Potter movie!
- random trips to Sacramento with Caitlin - shopping at Westfield and then the Asian Pacific Rim Festival [whoo slushes]
- 5/27 FOTC!!!!!!

JUNE
-realizing that the school year was about the end
- "this is the last time that we'll [fill in the blank]"
- taking the last finals of my freshman year!
- wondering what happened to that Arj Barker show that was supposed to happen
- packing up my dorm room [seriously when did i get so much stuff?]
- the start of summer!
